Hi all. We’ve been made aware of a SafeWork NSW rebate of up to $500 for small business owners who are looking to improve safety in their business.

Examples of what items you can claim under this initiative include:
  • Telephone headsets
  • Adjustable or tilting work bench, table or work station
  • Patient handling and/or transfer devices
  • Grab rails/handles in toilets and on stairs
  • Anti-slip treatment treading or matting, stair capping
  • Warning signage
  • Installation of improved general, entrance or exit lighting, including sensor lighting
Please be sure to check whether the item you wish to purchase and claim for is covered by this rebate. Further, as health professionals you may also want to recommend this incentive to your peers and patients that may benefit. Please note this is only available in NSW.
