A simple list to find all items sold within a fee schedule by a practitioner

Hi!   Is there a way to preview 'n print a list of all products/services that fall within a specific fee schedule for a single practitioner.
For example, our osteopaths mainly provide osteo. treatments (falling under their treatment schedule), but they can also sell certain osteo-related products (falling under osteo-product-GST and non-GST schedules).  I want to be able to report on all osteo products that each practitioner has sold in the 1st quarter of this year.  Dealing with an SQL database this should be an easy ask, but I can't see how to do it.  Help please..  :)
This request reasonably falls within the domain of requests that Hand Works proposed recently, relating to "simple lists".
Would a simple query/report generator be a useful adjunct to the program?

Hi Joyaa

It sounds like the Billings Report may be what you are looking for. If you were to use a Billings Report, filtered 'By Practice' and grouped by 'Practitioner' and 'Fee Category', you should get a breakdown similar to what you are requesting.  It can also be filtered by item Schedule, and a transaction date range.  This report could be exported to Microsoft Excel, where you can manipulate it directly, as with many of our other reports.

Front Desk does use a Microsoft SQL database, which can be connected to using a third-party program such as Microsoft Access, which is a good choice for report writing. To allow this we can arrange for a read-only account to be created, and show you how to connect using Microsoft Access. I would estimate around 1-2 hours work with one of our technical staff for this option, which would be chargeable. Please note this wouldn't include teaching how to use Microsoft SQL Server or going into how the database works.

Further to this we do also offer custom programming services on an hourly basis for any proprietary needs you might have. This might include a report or script that specifically meets your requirements.

I hope this helps.
