When I do a group booking, all patients are assigned the same appointment type. Many of our patients have different appointment types. eg DVA, EPC, Work Cover. Is there any way of assigning different appointment types for individual patients within the group?
Hi Trevor. The appointment types give you information regarding the type of appointment rather than the item code you're billing to a patient. Generally these are things like initial consultation, subsequent consultation, x-ray review, pilates etc. All patients in a class are generally coming for the same reason.
Individual patients however can have a individual fee category assigned to their file e.g. Private, DVA, EPC which will determine the item code and the amount that they are to be billed for the selected appointment type.
