Appointments tab

In the Patient - Appointments tab, when you uncheck the Future Appointments Only box, all appointments are shown, starting from the first. On my system, this can be up to 3 years ago. Is it possible to have the window set to display at the end of the list ie with the scroll bar at the bottom? Most times we are interested in the appointments just gone, not the ones 3 years ago.

Yes I would love this to change too.  Maybe have the most current appointments at the top of the list so going backwards in date order with the most current being first.

Hi Andrea

Thanks for offering another solution.

Changing the appointments list to descending order was my first thought as well. It's actually much easier to change the order than to force the scroll to start at the bottom, and this would be consistent with the Events and Attachments tabs.

The developers will take the idea from here and weigh everything up before running with the best option.  We may do exactly this.

Hi Trevor

Thanks for posting.

I've run this suggestion around the office, and we all agree this is a good idea. Being a relatively small change, we will include this in the next release of Front Desk. We will likely do as suggested by Andrea and change the ordering of the list, but also make it adjustable.

As a general rule we probably won't respond to every idea ourselves (as staff) like today, as it is more about gauging interest from other users, but in this case we are happy to make the change straight away.

To everyone reading we will still be on the lookout for ideas with high activity (comments) and 'likes', so please make yourselves heard if you really want to see an idea make it into the software.

Hi Trevor, the latest Front Desk pre-release, available now in the Support section of our website, includes a change which we believe will make the patient's Appointments tab easier for you to use. Thank you once again for your valuable feedback.
