We would like to use the appointment report and also the future appointments report to be able to log which of our clinicians aren't rebooking and to get them more accountable for their bookings. At the moment these two reports are only available in PDF and it makes trying to pull information from them quite difficult. If they we able to be exported then I could easily enter the information into a table that the clinician could also access and make changes or comments? Is there a way that I can do this? Is it a change that could help others as well?

Hi Sondra. Thank you for your post. As you've mentioned, this is not currently possible, but we will certainly monitor community interest in your idea.

Another possible option would be to take the PDF security off the reports that are generated so that an app could extract the data into excel perhaps? Or is there a password that I can enter to do that?

Hi Sondra. The password on a PDF generated by Front Desk forms part of the integrity and security of the PDF and therefore cannot be removed.

We are currently considering adding an option to export the Appointments Report to Excel in a future release. In the meantime, if this is important to you, we can discuss options for a custom report by opening a support case at www.smartsoft.com.au/support
