Hello, we have moved house and are running the office off our hotspots on our phones while iinet gets organised. I'm trying to send invoices and when i click send Front Desk says authentication 530 required. I'm not sure what to do.
Front Desk can send emails in several ways, including via Outlook integration or SMTP, which connects directly to your mail provider. The '530' error you are receiving is coming from your mail provider, who is requesting appropriate authentication (a username and password) to connect.
We would need to review your email settings to be sure, but I expect you were connecting to iiNet mail servers without authentication. This may have worked while you were actively using an iiNet internet connection, but not from a separate network (your mobile hotspot).
