Automatic receipt printing, how can I turn it off?

Since the new update, the system keeps wanting to print a receipt for every customer. Most customers don't need a receipt and it is clogging up our printer. How can I turn this feature off please?

That's odd - we have had a couple of computers do that too.

Hi Justin, Hope this what you mean, if you go to File (top left) then click on system information then click on the tab Default and in the last box you will see Receipt/Bill/Payment  - untick Print Receipt/Bill/Payment. Now your receipts will not automatically print.  If you do want to print a receipt, tick the Print box on the receipt file before you process the payment.  Hope this helps.

Thanks Michelle, you beat me to it :)

On top of this, Front Desk also remembers the last settings used with the individual patient. So if a transaction is added and you choose to print the receipt, it will remember that as the patient's preference.
