Booking Appointment Under Specific Account

Is there a way to book an appointment under the appropriate account?  For example we may have a patient with two different WC claims at the same time.  We want to book each appointment so that when we bill, the correct account comes up automatically.  At present it defaults to the "default" account.

It would be good to have this as a drop-down option when booking in addition to the item code, appointment type etc.

Hi SydSportsMed

An interesting thought. This isn't a current feature, however I have converted your Question into an Idea so others can express their interest in seeing it added in a future release.

Being able to set any of the (multiple) accounts that a patient can have as the "default" account is generally acceptable as most client only have one active claim/private case running at anytime, and even though you can change the account at the time of billing, I understand the dilemma here.

We do pride ourselves on providing a product that handles the complexities of real world PMS billing. :) We will certainly see if we can make this better.

Thanks.  We are a multi-disciplinary practice with a decent number of patients seeing more than one practitioner at a time.  Some patients can have 3 or more accounts at one time as they may have, for example, a private case with remedial massage, a WC claim with physio and an EPC with a podiatrist.

We also treat many elite athletes who will have some treatment paid for by a sporting body and others they pay for themselves.

It can get very complicated here at times! :O

In a similar vein: our DVA clients are often on yearly or repeatable referrals.  When/if they see another practitioner outside of DVA (eg a naturopath) they will have two accounts running concurrently.
Hope this helps.
