Booking Gateway Clean Install

I've just done an amazing job (if I may say so myself) of clean installing Front Desk and restoring the database, linking up 5 networked computers - all functioning perfectly.

Only when I download and install the Patient Gateway file from https://www.smartsoft.com.au/Support/Upgrades?Upgrades I notice that the upgrade file and New Install file are the same. When I try to run it I get the error message "this upgrade is for Front Desk Patient Booking Gateway version 1.0.0 or above".

I'm confused. Is there somewhere I need to get the original 1.0.0 Gateway before updating?

I guess I'll have to wait till Wednesday otherwise, but I'd love to have this sorted sooner rather than later.

Thanks!

Hi Kerry

That is impressive! The first install and configuration of the patient booking gateway needs to be performed and checked by Smartsoft personnel. Upgrades can be user performed.

Ahh ok

I even managed an Anytime Upgrade from Home Premium to Professional as it warned me that PBG wasn't completely compatible - although the download page suggests otherwise.

So close! But no cigar!

PS: Maybe the download page should say that... Would have saved me several downloads and much frustration

We sent an email, Front Desk message broadcast and posted on the community the following message;

"Please note that our office will be closed from 5.00pm (ACDT) Monday, 24 December 2018 for the Christmas & New Year holiday period, and will re-open at 9.00am on Wednesday, 2 January 2019.
As our helpdesk and technical staff will be unavailable during this period, we recommend that you do not perform Front Desk software updates or make significant infrastructure changes during this time."

Its best to allow our professional staff to install our software, a service we offer with little delay within office hours or alternately have it installed by your technical people after they received the correct files and information from our office.
