Can we email ical link for many future appointments?

Hi Simone. Thanks for your feedback. At this stage, an iCal link can only be sent for an individual appointment using the SMS add-to-calendar link feature. Alternatively, a patient can log into their Patient Booking Gateway account online and select the ‘add all to calendar’ option. We believe that the best way to reduce no-shows is through an SMS say 24 hours before the appointment. In the current environment where people are being swamped with unwanted emails, emails just don’t penetrate as well for something as important as appointment reminders. Even if a few patients miss this email, it can result in costly no-shows.

We’re happy to monitor user interest in adding a feature to send an iCal file containing an appointment schedule through Front Desk using email and SMS.

We do the same, and would be very interested if this were to be a future feature. One appointment into iCal at a time is reasonable for a one-off appointment, but for bulk appointment booking that may not be for a regular service on a regular day or time (ie. mixture of Physiotherapy, Myotherapy, Pilates 1:1, groups and classes) iCal would be very helpful and environmentally friendly!
