Can you add a calender option to online booking to assist patients to book forward appointments so many weeks in advance

Is there a way to add a calender to the online booking as this would assist our patients that want to book a forward appointment so many weeks in advance

Hi Anthony. In the near term we are going to be integrating some new SMS features into the booking gateway that will allow you to add a calendar link in the SMS. What we suggest at this stage with appointments made through the booking gateway is that you perform your normal SMS reminder routine as with normal bookings. We can look at the possibility of adding calendar links to email in the future but at this stage there are some technical limitations that stop us from doing so.

Hi again Anthony. I think I have completely misunderstood your original question what with all the conversation about the new SMS Add to Calendar links. 

Your patients can certainly adjust the date rage for their search simply by selecting the calendar buttons below:



How far into the future a patient can search is determined by this particular setting in the patient booking gateway configuration:
