Casual Appointments

We have had an issue with contractors blocking out available shift times with little communication, and have removed their access to blocking out as a way to improve communication (ie they have to ask admin to block out unavailable times). A couple of them have started using the casual appointment function to do this as a work around, using a "." as the appointment description. Though I realise this is an internal disciplinary issue, I can't find a way of removing user access to Casual appointment. Is there an easy way to add this to the existing appointment book access options?

Won't they then just use a "rule out"?

We've already removed their ability to do that, that was the first problem. Now they're using Casual appts in place of this

Hi Ben

The options available at the moment are to restrict access to the Appointment Book itself or remove the users ability to Edit Appointments.

There is currently no option to restrict Casual Appointments only.

I thought about that, but I need them to be able to edit patient appointments if they have been contacted by a patient directly (on their mobile phone for instance). We have a remote access system so they can log in to check and change bookings as required, I just want to stop them from being able to rule out sections of their day without running it through reception or admin so that there is better communication. It's just the Casual appointments that I want restricted access for.
