Hi, this is my first time using this forum.  We are a physiotherapy practice and have been using Smartsoft Frontdesk PMS for quite some time now.  We are now considering moving towards offering online booking.  I would love it if I could get some feedback from people who currently use the gateway. Was it simple to set up and would you recommend it?

We are really happy with it.

It's easy to set up (if I remember correctly the Smartsoft team assisted over the phone with initial set up) and make any changes needed in the future.

I'd definitely recommend it.

Hi there,
We've had great success with using the gateway for our clinics across Perth. Almost half of our new patients booked online last month, and we get great feedback from the clients and our staff regarding the convenience.
Smart soft are always super helpful with any bugs or issues that pop up along the way.

In this day and age, if you're not online, people will seek a more convenient route. We're most pleased with the return on our time, training and financial investment.

We have been using the booking gateway for some years now and have been very happy with its functionality. I particularly like the intelligence of the gateway to book appointments in a way similar to how admin staff are directed to eg. book new clients with particular physios, direct existing clients to book with the physio they normally see, block an individual client booking with a specific physio/s etc.

Setup was pretty simple, you do need a static IP address for your internet connection and to have your appointment book rules configured correctly, that's about it though.  From there they just do a remote log in to install it and then book a time with you to walk you through the setup step by step so it behaves the way you want it to (it can be configured quite specifically if you need).  You also need to be aware that you do need to leave your server computer on 24/7 as you will find that clients often use the gateway at times when your practice is closed!

It would be worth considering how you are going to link to the gateway from your website and make sure that the link is prominently displayed on each page of your website, prior to installing. I am sure Smartsoft will be able to advise you on the best way to do this with your website.
