CREATING CONFIDENTIALITY BETWEEN PRACTITIONERS

I have 10 practitioners and 5 reception staff. I need a way to create independent users for each practitioner whereby they are unable to access other practitioners financial records preferably without creating separate practice groups. I also still need each practitioner to be able to view the entire appointment book so that can see the patient flow. This is important managing daily cross referrals. Many thanks, Andrew Arnold, Chiropractor, Cranbourne Family Chiropractic and Wellness Centre

Hi Andrew

Welcome to the Smartsoft Community.

As you have found currently it is possible to limit access to reports based on Practice Groups, and not individual Practitioners.  We have found most practices either restrict access to certain reports for practitioners, allow the entire practice group, or have the practice groups set-up to match their specific reporting needs.

Please note practice groups are used across multiple areas of the software, and changing your practice groups may affect other features (eg. Appointment Book, Rules).

I have now converted this post to an Idea, so other users can express their interest in your suggestion.  Please 'Like' Andrew's post in the top right of the screen if you would like to see this functionality in a future release of Front Desk, or comment below.
