DVA Billing

Hi we have been advised that we need to submit Specialist invoices for DVA clients electronically.  At the moment we can only do this for our Allied Health clinicians. Is this some that can be looked up with the next upgrade.  We can do the Medicare online billing for our specialist so not sure why we can't for DVA.

Hi Julie. Front Desk integrates with the Medicare/DVA Online Claiming platform for allied health practitioners. This platform supports Medicare claims for allied health and specialist claiming, however the DVA claims support is for allied health only.

We do have plans to include DVA claiming for specialists in the future, however we are waiting for a platform overhaul to be implemented by Medicare, which is due late next year.
