As one of our practices is paperless, we were hoping to have a simple new patients form available electronically ie. on a tablet whereby the information they enter is 'pulled through' to front desk. Similar functionality as the online booking request process only they're sitting in the waiting room and we could still do the final 'add' of the patient to ensure there's no duplicates.
Then we'd be pretty much 100% paperless

All other forms are laminated and scanned into the xray tab before cleaning for re-use.

Lets go Front Desk, time to make it happen!
BTW have other users used any other electronic forms outside of Front desk?

We are currently working on a form creator as an active project, which will allow users to add custom questions/fields to an online form.

Could the electronic patient details/consent form from our website be automatically transferred into front desk?

We have parts of the business group using Online but have a planned rollout of more of our clinics onto this in coming months, so to be able to have online forms as a part of the offer would be great for both ourselves and our patients.

Hi, I asked about this a couple of years ago and got this response:
Smartsoft will be releasing an online electronic patient intake form later this year. This will allow you to send a link by email or sms to the online form to be completed or to allow patients in your waiting room to complete the intake form using a tablet device.
Regarding signing of general electronic documents, this is probably outside of the scope of Front Desk. You may consider sending the forms through e-signing tools such as Adobe EchoSign, DocuSign or similar.
Has this happened yet. We are looking for something like Finger Ink which integrates with Cliniko

I have used frontdesk since 2007. We have grown from a single license up to 15 licenses. I know we are still “little fish” compared to some, however I find it disappointing the level of priority this task has been assigned. I first asked about this 4 years ago. Delivery dates have been given and then passed. In the meantime we see 140 new clients every month and each of their basic contact and referral details have to be archaically, manually entered at the end of each day. Even at minimum admin wage this adds up to thousands of dollars every year not to mention the money wasted in correcting the human error common to this type of data handling. I have gotten to the point of researching your competitors and the cost of database transfer and choosing one which has this functionality. If this development item has not been actioned by June 30 next year we will be changing our provider despite the extra time and effort and error a full database and system transfer will undoubtedly bring.
Please attend to this soon,

I fully appreciate that the Xero implementation would have been very time consuming, as would be the Cloud based software but hopefully the e NP forms will soon be developed?

Any indicative timelines that are definitive on this?
Cheers
