Email reminders need to reset with change appointment

When we use the "Change Appointment" function after reminder emails have been sent, the appointment in the new time slot keeps the email reminder sent status and doesn't get captured in the emails to remind the patient of their new appointment. I'm not sure if this is all the time or only from group appointments, where it occurred on this occasion.
Would be ideal if this could be rectified or at least the ability to remove the reminder sent status was available (even though this obviously involves manual steps and isn't preferable)

Yes this is annoying, and would be great if it automatically changed.

Also if it had the option to email the practitioner to notify the appointment has changed (like it does when cancelling) it would be great. Thanks

Hi David

I have just tested this functionality. If you change an individual appointment from one time to another, the reminder flag correctly resets. The same thing happens if you move one person from a group to another time. It does, however, appear that if you reschedule the entire group appointment to another time it does not reset the reminder flag.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. An update will resolve this functionality in a near future release.

Ellee, in addition to the notification when an appointment is cancelled we will also add this functionality to notify a practitioner when an appointment is changed and when new appointments are booked.

Thanks Steven, I thought I had simply moved the client from one group appt to another, but I may have rescheduled the entire group as you describe as she was in a casual make-up class and was the only one. Glad it will be automatic and agree with Ellee that the practitioner notification will be handy.
