When we take an appointment cancellation on any day before the appointment is due the email to practitioners notes the next appointment as the one just cancelled. It would be useful for the system to pick up the fact that there may be a forward booked appointment that they may have already forward booked. This means we know at the practitioner end we can see that they are still in the system and in many cases a recall may not be necessary if they are just dropping an appointment and keeping their next one.
