Extracting Data for Analysis

I am wanting to extract as much data as possible from FD in order to analyse every possible aspect of our business, including how many appointments people have, whether they buy product, what day of the week they come in, etc. Really detailed stuff. I can't find anything in any of the forums or in any instruction booklets etc.
Does anybody know how I can do this? Or whether I need to engage an external IT person to do it for me? I'd really love to hear any ideas.

Hi Steph

For advanced data analysis, we can provide you read-only access to the MS SQL database that holds the data for Front Desk. You can access all the data except for Clinical Notes and the file attachments, which are encrypted for security reasons.

Querying data in a complicated database such as Front Desk is not for the average user, so you will need to engage an IT professional with advanced MS SQL querying skills if you want to go down this route.

Alternately we have an advanced dashboard that we provide users at no additional cost (free) called Insights Dashboard that may provide the information that you are looking for. It is a flexible reporting tool that provides business intelligence information using your Front Desk data. Note that this product is self-installed and self-managed. Smartsoft can also provide consulting services for those requiring proprietary reports and data extracts. Please feel free to open up a support case with Business Care if you would like to learn more here: https://smartsoft.com.au/support
