Fee category specific to billing acc

Frustration at time of billing when a patient that has different billing accounts

Eg a patient comes for treatment under RTW so has a third party acc but also attends Pilates classes as a private patient so has a separate billing acc.

At present, if we set their fee category as RTW and their default account as RTW, any time we bill out their private Pilates class to their private acc, the billing code reverts to our default code (which is SUPER frustrating but probably a discussion for another day) and as the code is a non RTW code, the billing amount is blank/zero.

 Possible solutions

  • Make it possible to set the fee category specific to a patient's billing acc so it picks up the correct billing code fee for that item
  • make it so that when billing an item, if the billed to acc is changed, the existing booking info (billing code and pricing) remains rather than changing to the default but can be manually changed if necessary.

Hi Rachel. Fee Categories can be overridden per account by selecting the Advanced button on the Billing Details tab as below. I think this will solve your issue and reduce your frustration :)
