Front Desk pre-release 18.2.2 is now available to download from the Support section of the Smartsoft website.
This version fixes a bug when using a barcode scanner on the Receipt window where the wrong item code was recorded despite the correct description and price showing. We’ve also removed the requirement to contact Smartsoft when moving transactions between patient files. This process is initiated by selecting a transaction and pressing CTRL + M. The user does require security access to delete transactions in order to use this function. We advise caution when using this function.
If you are upgrading from version 18.0.0 or earlier, it is important that you familiarise yourself with information in the Front Desk Accounting Update March 2018 document prior to updating your system.
