Front Desk - Pre-Release Upgrades (17 December 2019)

We are pleased to announce the following Pre-release upgrades for the Front Desk suite of products. Pre-release versions have gone through our full internal testing and quality assurance but limited or no external real-world live testing. Pre-release builds are made available for users wanting the most up-to-date features.

Front Desk® - Practice Management System v20.0.6
Front Desk v20.0.6 includes a bug fix for calendar links sent using automatic SMS features. This upgrade is highly recommended for users who have previously upgraded to v20 and are using automatic SMS features. Please click here to view the detailed AutoSMS setup guide.

Previous changes in v20 added new options for automatic SMS reminders, giving the ability to exclude appointment types, receive SMS replies via email, and use a Sender ID when sending automatic SMS. Additionally, rescheduling an appointment after an automatic SMS has been sent will now automatically schedule a new reminder.

Front Desk® – Patient Booking Gateway v7.0.0
Resolved an issue which stopped patients completing an online appointment when using recently updated web browsers. This only affected embedded sites when the domain name of the website and that of the Patient Booking Gateway were different. To comply with new browser security requirements, using an SSL certificate is now compulsory. This upgrade is recommended for all Patient Booking Gateway users. Changes from the previous upgrade resolved a bug which prevented popups from working in certain web browsers and is recommended for all Patient Booking Gateway users.
