Front Desk - Pre-Release Upgrades (4 May 2018)

We are pleased to announce the following Pre-Release upgrades for the Front Desk suite of products. Pre-Release versions have gone through our full internal testing and quality assurance but limited or no external real world live testing. Pre-Release builds are made available for users wanting the most up-to-date features available.

Front Desk software upgrades can be downloaded from the Support section of the Smartsoft website.

Front Desk Practice Management System v18.1.5

This version includes several enhancements to Front Desk in relation to user login security. These include a new minimum password strength requirement, the ability for users to change their own passwords and an enforced delay between incorrect login attempts. A new "Un-issued Invoices Only" filter option has been added when issuing batch invoices as well as the ability to use account-specific letter tags in emails. This version also supports the new Front Desk Insights dashboard functionality available in Web Appointment Book v7.0.0 installation. 

If you are upgrading from version 18.0.0 or earlier, it is important that you familiarise yourself with information in the Front Desk Accounting Update March 2018 document prior to updating your system.

Front Desk Web Appointment Book and Insights Dashboard v7.0.2

This version introduces Front Desk Insights, a customisable reporting dashboard. View appointment, billing and stock level figures in graphs, tables and setup KPI targets to help your staff keep track of their goals. Front Desk Insights can be accessed from your Web Appointment Book login screen. 

In the Web Appointment Book, all appointment tooltip information as displayed in Front Desk is now displayed on the mobile site after tapping an appointment.

Front Desk Patient Booking Gateway v6.2.0

This version includes improved handling when patients choose to login after starting the booking process as a guest. The Advanced Search option has also been moved to the second step of the booking process to reduce the number of step required to perform an advance search. Improved prefilling of professions when booking while logged in and various minor bug fixes.

It would be great to able to extract statistics from classes or group bookings. Eg how many of a particular class is booked online or not and other relevant statistics.
