Going to client files from a list

Is it possible to have frontdesk create a list of patients from a report (e.g active/inactive patient list, recall list etc) and have the list interactive so we can click on a name on the list and bring up the patient file, then click out of the patient file when we have finished with it and back to the list and click on the next patient and bring up their file and so on?  I know other programs have this capability and it make it so much easier when doing recalls or just looking at the file of a specific list of patients especially if you are creating a list of clients you want to telephone. At the moment we have to print out the list then type in the search box for each patient to find the information we need.

Hi Celia

The current reports generated within Front Desk aren't directly interactive, however they can be exported and used in batch processes such as mail merging, data imports and other purposes. Many of the reports also include phone numbers and basic contact information, making it less necessary to access the patient file itself depending on your goal.

It isn't currently possible to generate an interactive report, where you can click a patient name and have a linked file load directly. That said, we would consider adding a 'table' option to certain reports which would allow this workflow, if there was enough interest in the idea.

I have converted this post to an Idea so we can gauge interest in adding this functionality. If you would like to see this feature added to the Front Desk software in a future release please 'Like' Celia's post in the top right of the screen.
