This may have been addressed before but I can't find anything on it.

Is there a report that we can run that will show clients who having upcoming appointments showing when their referral is due to expire.  At the moment we look at individual clients files with upcoming appointments and contact clients to advise referral has expired.  It would be great to run a report as it would be easier to see when referrals expire

Hi Gavin. We have just had a look and cannot find a way to include the referral expiry date in a filter on or export of the standard Front Desk reports. We will look at including this in a future release.

As a side note, if the referral is set to expire within the next 14 days, a warning will automatically appear when billing or receipting the patient.

As a short term solution, if you contact me by opening a support case at www.smartsoft.com.au/support I can provide you with an SQL script you can run to export this information to Excel.

I know this is an old request - has it been included anywhere yet?

With the new DVA changes coming into place from 1/10/19, we are required to report to the GP at either 12 visits or 12months, in order to do this, we need the GP referral expiry date.

Thank you for your post. We have recently been made aware of some changes at DVA through some of our clients, including yourself. Sadly, DVA has not contacted us directly about this, though we're a stakeholder.

We will be implementing some changes to Front Desk in an upcoming upgrade that will help manage the following:

1. Counting only one treatment per day even if multiple services have been rendered. This option will be called 'distinct days only'.
2. We will be adding an end date to the treatment plan that can easily be set to 12 months.
3. The treatment plan report will be enhanced to show treatment plan expiry dates.
