Hi Alan
This is accomplished in Front Desk by using the multiple accounts feature. The multiple accounts feature will allow you to manage more than one account and all the associated information for one patient. It saves you having to have different patient cards for the same patient.

On a patient’s file, go to the Billing Details tab and select New Acc. to create a new account. Type in an Account Name and select OK.

Each account can hold a different Referral, just switch to the tab, tick the Referring Doctor box and add in the details under Ref. Dr.

Once the referral has expired you can right click the Account Name, select Properties and mark the Account as inactive to grey it out so that it isn't accidentally reused while the referral hasn't been updated.

Hope this helps.

No problem Alan

You can also use multiple accounts to add additional treatment plans for a single patient
