Hi Kathryn

One way that you can access all information on the 'General' tab of a Front Desk patient file is via the WebPlus Appointment Book. Not only will this let you search your database, but as you may already know, you can also view your diary and book appointments via your smartphone for both existing and new patients. Some screenshots of this utility can be found below. More information regarding WebPlus can be found at: http://smartsoft.com.au/webplus/

Alternatively, you may like to try a product like Parallels Access which will allow you to remotely control a computer running Front Desk from your iPhone. While we are not associated with Parallels, please find a link to more information about this product. I believe there is also a free trial available for you to test.  http://www.parallels.com/au/products/access/ From our tests, it is easy to install and does not require a tech person to set it up.
