Inactive Patient Report - file numbers?

Is it possible to add file numbers to the Inactive Patient Report?  It would help us greatly for our much hated job of pulling files to move to a storage area, and then eventually shredding.  Also, a patient DOB would be handy, as we have to keep the children's files longer.  

I'd be interested to know how other practices get around this?

Hi Andrea. Both the file number and patient DOB are included when exporting the Active/Inactive Patient Report to Excel :)

Hi A.,
We are now scanning all "inactive" peeps' paperwork and storing it in pdfs outside of FD.
