Hi there. We are in the process of having our website rebuilt and then I would like to start on-line booking. I am just wondering whether I should be waiting until we launch the New website or whether it would be best for Smartsoft to be communicating with our web builders whilst it is still in the wire frame stage., so that SS can do their technical work and the website + online booking can be launched together? Also, do we need to book far ahead for SS to do the necessary technical work? Thanks

Hi Kirsty basic integration just requires placing a button on your website.  Your web developers just need to allow a spot for a button. If you do want to embed your patient booking application within a page in your website, please call or email our office and we will provide you the details required for your web people.  Note that our office is currently closed and that Monday is a public holiday here, so expect a response on Monday.  There is a link somewhere on this topic but I'm current at home (cooking dinner) and don't have easy access to it.

I quickly found this in an internal development document, but you will probably need a few more details .

"This functionality can be enabled in the Patient Booking Gateway Configuration section of Front Desk. On the Defaults tab, simply check Allow Booking Gateway to be embedded in an existing website. The Patient Booking Gateway will automatically detect when it is loaded inside an iframe and style itself accordingly."

Opps just getting used to this.  "....expect a response on Tuesday"  not Monday.
