Invoice numbers in Transaction screen

Is there anyway the invoice number can appear in the transaction screen to assist when entering payments. It will help match up invoice number/date of service/billing amount.

Hi Admin

When using the Payment screen, you can select Invoice/Statement to show only items on a certain invoice. For example below I have 7 transactions, split across two invoices as highlighted.



If I go to the Payment screen, it will at first show all outstanding items.



If I select Invoice/Statement and choose the appropriate invoice number, I can then clearly see only those items.  The Unpaid Items total also automatically updates to show the total of those items.

Regarding your final screen shot of the Payment Screen above, I'm not sure what I'm missing, but the Invoice/Statement checkbox is greyed out and I can't select it.

We are having the same issues. None of our patients have the Invoice/Statement box able to be ticked. Unfortunately the wrong invoices are getting paid off at times if they both refer to the same treatment day as there is no way of telling which invoice number is which.

Hi Adam

The Invoice/Statement option should be available so long as the account selected has an outstanding invoice to be paid.

For example, I have created an invoice under the 'Insurance' billing account as below:

(Note: It does need to be an official invoice created using the 'Invoices' button on the Transactions tab).



If these items remain outstanding, and I have the 'Insurance' account selected in the payment screen, the invoice can be selected.
