Is MailChimp still a good way to do a mail-out?

Hi All,
We are planning to do a mailout.  
Have you found doing mail-outs via MailChimp easy and effective using FrontDesk?

Hi Joyaa. There are two ways that you can send emails through Front Desk. The first is by using the bulk email functionality in Front Desk (selecting the ‘Email’ option on standard reports) and the second is by using the Mailchimp integration. Being able to send email in bulk directly through Front Desk requires you to have an email service or ISP that doesn't rate limit you when sending out large volumes of emails. Mailchimp avoids this rate limiting issue and also provides you with additional features to design your email as well as information on how many people have received and clicked through your email. Individual users’ needs vary so it's best to try both methods to see which one works best for you. 

The article you have linked above regarding how to set up the Mailchimp integration in Front Desk is up to date. Please note that the actual usage of Mailchimp is outside the scope of Front Desk support.
