We have recently started experincing an issue where the last person logged on the previous day is being automatically relogged in to Frontdesk on restarting of computer.

It is happening on multiple computers within our practice.

Any ideas what's happening and how to stop this please?

We are having as similar issue with Messenger. Even after shutting the computer down it will come up as the last person logged in.

Hi Health First

This sounds like a separate issue to what Rachel was posting, as she was talking about Front Desk itself rather than the Messenger. The user logged into the Messenger should be automatically updated depending on who you login as in Front Desk. I have seen this occur in much older versions of the Messenger when multiple instances have been forcefully opened, but not in recent versions.

In the very latest release we have significantly overhauled the Front Desk Messenger, so my first recommendation would be to upgrade to version 16.9.1.  Please see the announcement post below:

Otherwise, please feel free to open a support case at www.smartsoft.com.au/support as this is occurring and we would be happy to take a look.
