Medicare Online Claiming - Payment Reports Unavailable [19/08/2019]

We have been advised by the Department of Human Services that Bulk Bill Processing and Payment Reports are temporarily unavailable due to a system issue. In Front Desk, this means some claims may appear to be processed however the option to Allocate is not available.

Please note this is due to issues in processing by Medicare / DVA, and users should be able to allocate as per normal within the next few business days.

We recommend the following:
  • DO NOT manually allocate payments for outstanding claims. The Medicare payment report is only delayed, and once received you should be able to automatically allocate the payment from the Medicare/DVA claims window.

  • Continue to process Medicare / DVA payments using the 'Process' button as per usual over the following days, understanding that the payment reports are currently delayed. Please note you may need to adjust the date range in the Medicare / DVA claims window to properly process all outstanding claims.
Please note the Medicare Online and Medicare Easyclaim services are provided through the Department of Human Services. If you have concerns regarding these services please contact Medicare on 1800 700 199.
