Messenger - outgoing messages not displaying

When I send a message to someone, it does not display on my messages feed, only the recipients.
This can be frustrating if I have multiple messages on the go or if the person doesn't respond right away as I have to try and remember what the initial message was about.

Often this is a local firewall issue on the computer

I have had this happen regularly. It seems to be when I log on to F-D with a laptop that has been started up from hibernation or sleep mode - probably from use on a different network, although I haven't checked whether that is exclusively the case.

Hi Timothy, this issue is a constant issue, and we have called numerous times regarding this and messenger crashing. We don't even bother calling now as it crashes on average 8 times a day.

We're not aware of any issues with the Messenger crashing in the latest version of Front Desk, however the Messenger program was recently re-written from scratch to support iPhone functionality.

For cases where certain computers cannot send or receive messages, we do know that local firewalls or third-party security software is often the cause, and some adjustments may need to be made there.
