If an appointment is billed after the default 1hr period from start time, is it still considered a missed appointment, or processed?
Is it possible to extend the default time for missed appointments?

Hi Brendan
An appointment will be marked as missed once an hour has passed after the appointment start time. Currently, the one hour time time frame is not able to be extended. It will remain as missed if the appointment is not billed on the same day the appointment is booked in and to the practitioner the appointment is booked in with.
This logic is used in the Appointment Book tooltip (mouse over title of practitioner’s column) and the Appointments tab on the patient’s file. As soon as the patient has a transaction (on the same day with the same practitioner), the appointment becomes a Processed Appointment.
In the Appointments Report, a Missed Appointment is any appointment for a patient who hasn't had a transaction on the same day with the practitioner. On this report, future appointments will be classed as “Missed”. The reason for this is that this report is intended to be an end of day report, not one that is run throughout the day.

Hi Brendan. I have re-read your question
and have probably provided more information than required, but to make it clear
an appointment can be billed at any time as long as the date of consult is
correct for the missed appointment status to be removed. There is no problem
billing after the one hour period.
