We have patients who have multiple claim numbers. The system seems to get bogged down with them. We need space for separate claims and the different details.

Can you create a different account for each claim?  Then you can separate claim details.  Would just mean you'd need to select which account you were using each time you billed.

Thank you for your post.

Front Desk has an advanced feature that allows you to setup multiple accounts per patient to prepare invoices for different third-party billers or store details of different treatment episodes.

To use this feature, Multiple Accounts per Patient needs to be ticked within the System Information > Advanced.

  

With this setting enabled, you can add a new account on the Billing Details tab of a patient file by selecting the New Acc. button. As an example, here is a patient file with a Private, Medicare and WorkCover account. You may also set the injury/condition as the account name if you wish.


  
The Account Name can be chosen when selecting New Acc.
