Multiple Lists within FrontDesk/MailChimp

I am wondering if I can sync more than one list to MailChimp.

At present I have all my patients that chose to be on my Mail Chimp List synced and am in the process of segmenting them.

What I would like to do is have a separate lists for referrers.  One that would allow me to sync all my referrers to a different list on Mail Chimp to enable me to mail directly to them.

Is this possible?  If so, if you could point me in the right direction I would be greatly appreciative.

Many Thanks

Hi Andrea,

If you go to the front desk upgrades section of the smartsoft website https://smartsoft.com.au/support/default/ and scroll down to the 16.8.0 update there is a link there which outlines the mailchimp use in the manner in which you were asking - separate lists etc. Scroll down the document that opens to about 16.4 there is a heading Mailchimp Integration.
Hope that was what you were after.

I just noticed this on the side of my page too which might even be easier:

Hi David

I understand this with regard to patient lists.

I am wondering about a referrers list/sync option with Mail Chimp.

I can't see a work around the GP/Referrers list other than exporting to a CSV and then dumping into Mail Chimp, however this creates double handling because as new referrers/GPs are added into the database you will have to constantly export and dump again.

Thanks for your interest though.

Hi Andrea

Welcome to the Community.

As seen in the guides linked by David (thank you), there is no need to create multiple lists for patients in MailChimp because you can use the advanced Segments feature to create separate segments/groups instead. If you were to swap between lists you would lose synchronisation between the previous MailChimp list and Front Desk.

I understand your request is for Referring Doctors rather than Patients. Unfortunately it is not currently possible to synchronise a list of Referring Doctors from Front Desk to MailChimp, however I have converted this conversation to an Idea so others can express their interest in adding this functionality in the future.
