These are some of the ideas I have had to improve the program, I note that I like some of the recent improvements that have been made in the areas of SMS, email and clinical notes but feel that they could still go a step further:

1) To be able to automate SMS/Email reminder sending entirely.

2) To add calendar support for appointments ie. be able to send an appointment confirmation email when booking an appointment that enables them to quickly add the appointment to their calendar.

3) Improve chart functionality, perhaps graphic tablet/e-pen support.

4) The ability to flag clinical notes as complete/incomplete and reflect this on the appointment book (this could perhaps be achieved by a save as draft and save as complete button in the clinical notes tab rather than close to reflect the status of the note?).

5) Add an automated log out option or time-out feature.

6) An easier process to upgrade versions.

re Clinical notes completed...we have added an appointment status and colour so that when the therapist has finished the clinical notes, they can change the appointment status so that from a diary glance they can see whose notes have not yet been completed. This works ok, but if the CN completed appointment status is marked before reception has completed the billing, this will over-ride the CN completed status.

Agree with your suggestion - it would be really helpful, but perhaps in the interim you could use the appointment status - if you are not already doing so. :)

I agree with your suggestions particularly the automated sms/email reminders and the calendar apt option

I agree with the suggestions also, particularly

- automated sms/email,
- automated appointment reminders when adding calendar apts
- and easier update process for FD.

Hi Louise if you install the Web Appointment Book, which is provided on a self install basis but is free, you can use the ICal integration to keep the calendar on you phone/IPad etc automatically synced with your appointment book in Front Desk - no email required.
