New enhancements to treatment plans

In Front Desk 16.9.3 we've introduced a new way for users to quickly view what stage of a treatment plan a patient is at, as well as seeing how many treatments have been billed in the current calendar year. 

Once the treatment plan is setup from the Billing Details tab, the Current Treatments and Calendar Year fields will automatically update when the patient is billed.

This information can also be viewed by hovering the mouse over the appointment on the Appointment Book.

We hope that this enhancement will help to manage treatments provided on EPC programs a little easier.

Hi This is great. 

Is there also any way of running a report with the same information?  So that towards the end of the year we can see who may not have used their visits or vice versa?

Hi Sharon

We have always had a Treatment Plan Report in the system which is how users have been checking treatment plan stages in the past. It can be found under the Reports menu, and I believe this will do what you want.

This is there an option to manually override the calendar year field when you first enter client details? 
In a psychology clinic, some clients have previously used sessions on a mental health plan elsewhere and therefore when they begin treatment may be up to their 4th/7th session in the calendar year - ideally we need to be able to enter this in calendar year field or the calendar year tracking will not be accurate.

Hi Tim,

Really like this feature in Frontdesk.

One potential enhancement I would like to put forward is an update of the mouse over feature.  The mouse over feature which is available for a standard appointment is not available for an appointment which is part of a group appointment. 

We use the feature to count pilates classes and the roll over would be a massive help.

Any chance?
