Notification when new attachments are uploaded

Hi Front Desk Team,

Thanks for your support. I would like to see whether it's possible for Clinicians to receive a notification when new attachments are uploaded in Client's charts - either my email and/or perhaps a pop up window, when we open the Client's chart.

There may be an option to 'READ' (once the Clinician has seen the window) and 'IGNORE' (for reception staff to cselect) the notification.

Many thanks,

Hi Jane, Love the idea.

We currently add the attachment to the file after it's read and signed by the practitioner, as I'm sure most people do. If this idea was introduced it would have to have some sort of constant re-notification system for those of us who are less on top of admin! - until the practitioner had marked it 'READ' or there is too much risk that it never gets read at all imho.

You would also have to have a system whereby staff on holidays notifications' were being forwarded to another practitioner.

Hi David,

Yes thanks for the suggestion, typically most of our Clinicians regularly check the documents that come in, but having 15+ allied health staff we receive a lot of correspondence and other medical information!

Perhaps even having the attachment in bold for the 1st week would be beneficial??
