In the Front Desk Office Messenger the 'Clear Text' option will simply clear the text from your screen, but it won't delete the conversation for all users across the office.
Just to confirm, is your idea to allow users to select and delete a single message from here? It still wouldn't effect the chat history of other users who have received the message if that's the case.
Yes, Only want to delete from one screen not all. We communicate with other Podiatrists this way to tell them they need to write to a doctor, e.g. Please do medicare letter for Joe Blog. They would like to be able to erase each individual message from their computer, so they know where they are up too. Is this possible? or can this be something that is looked at in the future?
It isn't currently possible to delete a single message from the Messenger, but we are happy to gauge interest in adding this functionality through the Community. If other users would like to see this idea developed further, they can comment below or 'Like' your post in the top right of the screen.
That said, we don't believe the Messenger is the right tool for a persistent to-do list as when you close it all the messages will be cleared. We do however have on our development list a more advanced 'To-Do List' function, which would allow you add tasks to be completed and assign them to users. As a long term solution it sounds like this might suit your needs perfectly.
