In our clinic most of our practitioners have different intervals for a Standard and New Client.
For the longer New Client times we set aside space in the book so that there are always New Client times available.
The Problem: As there is no ability to differentiate between appointment types in the Online Booking system, the Booking Gateway will put the shorter Standard Appointment times into the longer New Client time slots (if 'Available for Scheduler/Waiting List/Booking Gateway' is selected). Thus if even one Standard appointment gets booked into a New Client spot the Gateway will view the spot as unavailable for New Client booking.
I have discussed this with a number of clinics and they have the same issue.
The Possible Solution: Adding a number of tick boxes under 'Available for Scheduler/Waiting List/Booking Gateway'. Even something as limited as:
Available for Scheduler/Waiting List/Booking Gateway - Standard Appointments
Available for Scheduler/Waiting List/Booking Gateway - New Clients
would be greatly appreciated.
Kind Regards,
Craig Sperling
