Online booking into courses in 1 booking

Is it possible to set up the online booking gateway/FrontDesk appointments so that when booking into a course (eg 8 week intro to Pilates) clients only need to book into week1 and then they are automatically added to the rest of the course appointments?

So patient books week one online then FD automatically books them in to weeks 2 - 7.

Thanks

This would be great if possible.

Is it possible to set how long the blocks are?  we have 10 - 12 weeks blocks depending on the school terms and holiday times.

How would that work with recurrent bookings across practitioners.  Some of our practitioners cover each over in the pilates term block.

What happens if one of the classes is full? would it automatically increase the class (not that I would want that to happen)? or tell client online that that class is unavailable.

I think this is similar but different from what I am asking about.

We have classes running every week (put in FD quarterly using the recurring booking function) then we also run specific courses that run for a finite period eg 8 weeks.

I am asking specifically about the course option which has a definite start and finish date but can see the merit in being able to offer the same functionality for the "regular" recurring classes.

We would like to be able to set our classes up on line as well so people can book into their class each term.
Also it would be handy to be able to do the receipt up (for Pilates) easier at the end of the term.
Keep me in the loop.

Hi Sharon. Regarding group appointments on the Patient Booking Gateway, a patient will not be able to book into a group class if it is full. If a staff member is booking a patient into a group class using Front Desk, they will have the option to increase the class size to accommodate the patient. More information can be found here.

Hi Rachel. Thank you for your post. We understand that practices book patients into group appointments in different ways. For certain types of group appointments, patients are booked into the entire term/series and for other types of group appointment, patients can book on a casual basis. We are happy to consider ways to differentiate these two types of group appointment and how we can introduce booking into a whole series of classes into the Patient Booking Gateway.

Note that it is possible to book a patient into an entire series of classes using Front Desk. More information on managing classes can be found here.

Hi Timothy,

Thanks. Yes, we already use the recurring bookings.

We'd ideally love to see patients only needing to book into the 1st session of a course and that carrying over to the whole course (which we also set up using the recurring booking function).

Thanks again
