Option for SMS not to appear in Events

Is it possible to have an option to stop sms messages appearing in "Events".  The "SMS" tab stores all the information needed to see whether one was sent / delivered etc, so I am not sure why it needs to be stored in two places.

It really clutters up the "Events" section and an option to disable this would be really appreciated here.

Thank you for your idea. We decided to keep showing SMS on the Events tab in addition to the new SMS tab due to wanting to continue supporting the legacy functionality for a little bit longer. In a future update, we will add an option to display or hide SMS on this tab with the use of a new ‘Show SMS’ checkbox option, which will be off by default.

Hi all. Front Desk v18.2.4 now includes a "Show SMS" checkbox on the Events tab of the patient file, which is turned off by default. Outgoing SMS, replies, and delivery receipts can be viewed in the SMS tab. Front Desk will remember the setting once it is enabled, for users who want to continue to see SMS in the Events tab.
