Outstanding Fee on Invoices

Hi, Just wondering that in the case of a bill being only partially paid, if there is a way to show only the remaining outstanding fee on the invoice that is sent? The receipt currently only shows the total amount and the partial amount that was paid, but does not have the new calculated outstanding balance. Wondering if anyone can help out?

I just did a test run billing a patient with only partial payment.. the receipt shows the fee and payment received, and has 'Total Amount Outstanding' at the bottom left. Probably could be laid out better / clearer, but it's there when I do it..

Thanks for your reply! My receipts don't appear to have this down the bottom left. Does anyone know why this could be and if it's something I can change? Thanks

If you are printing receipts on an A4 page, the ‘Print Outstanding (A4 Only)’ option could be deselected.  This can be enabled from System Information under the Printing Options/Paper Size tab as below:
 
Otherwise if you are printing on A5 paper, the outstanding balance should always display.



In regards to invoices, if the Show payments on invoice option is enabled the total outstanding balance will reflect those payments.
