Please add the DATE to EACH DAY on the appointment diary screen

When we schedule an appointment into the diary it is difficult to know what the DATE is because the shading on the calendar on the LHS of screen is very dull.

Can we please have the date added next to the word 'Thu' etc.

i.e. Thu 27 Jan

Prior to updating to Windows 9 we were able to the date we were scheduling appointments because the date would be greyed out quite heavily on the LHS calendar but since upgrading our computers it is very dull.

Does anyone have a solution please because our staff are telling people the wrong dates and people are turning up on the wrong week.

Hi Luke. I can confirm that this is not a problem with Front Desk. As a guess, perhaps you're running a Windows theme where some screen elements are not clearly displayed and are difficult to view by your staff. As a suggestion you might try and adjust the Windows theme and colours. More info on this from Microsoft at: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows-8/get-started-with-themes

On a related note, the ability to add the date to the 'Week View' columns was added in Front Desk v16.9.5 to provide better visibility of the date when viewing the diary in weekly mode. If you are using v16.9.5 or above, this feature is enabled from System Information under the Appointment Book tab.

Once enabled the date will appear in the column headers upon closing and re-opening the Appointment Book.

If you require assistance enabling this feature, please open a support case at: www.smartsoft.com.au/support

As we can only check the community periodically throughout business hours, the best avenue for support for important and urgent matters is to call the helpdesk on 1800 18 18 20.
