PRINT NEXT APPOINTMENT right click options

After every appointment we book that patient in for a future appointment and print them off an appointment schedule, which we give to the patient to take home. We can see up to 30 patients per day. That means going through the whole process of clicking on the patient's file to open it, clicking on the appointment tab, clicking print, clicking OK, clicking on the print icon, choosing your printer preferences and clicking OK again, and all of this up to 30 times per day! So my idea is this: when we have made the future appointment, simply right click on the appointment and in that drop down menu have an option to choose "PRINT APPOINTMENT SCHEDULE", and the appointment schedule would print in one easy step!

Hi Noelene, you do realise that if you process the patient via right click "make next appointment" then choose the time of the next appointmnet and right click "make appointment and receipt" the next appointment will print on the pts receipt. This should mean no extra steps unless your patients need reminding of all their future appointments every time they see you. Hope I havent missed the point. Cheers

Thanks David, was going to say the same thing.  We just highlight the next appt when it prints on the receipt.  Hope this helps Noeleen.

Hi David and Andrea and thanks for your suggestions, which will certainly help for our private patients. Our DVA and Medicare EPC patients however do not get receipts and so the process, and therefore the problem remains the same for them.
