Recalls - Non- default practitioner

Would it be possible to change the recall function so specific practitioners can be "targeted" for the recall.

eg. If a patient comes in to see a different practitioner from their default one, and a recall is added for them (relevant to the "new" practitioner) the recall shows on the report under the default practitioner's name.

It would be great to be able to select the current treating practitioner who has asked for the recall to be added so that when we run the report, recalls are in one place for each practitioner to see so they can easily follow up

Hi Rachel

Our thinking in the past has been that when the patient is contacted an appointment is made with the appropriate practitioner, whether that's the patient's regular practitioner or another available practitioner.

As a workaround, it's possible to add additional recall types to identify specific practitioners if that's required. Alternatively, the practitioner's name can be added to the recall notes.

We're happy to consider making this change and we'll monitor interest from other community members.

This would be useful for a busy practice with a lot of recalls.

Hi Gerry,

Yes, we currently add the treating practitioner's name to the recall my only concern is that this could be missed in the follow up as they are printed under the default practitioner's name.

Adding practitioner specific recalls is not a workable option for us given the number of practitioners and the number of different types of recalls we have. Thanks for that suggestion though, it may work for others.
