Is there a way to limit the access a user has, to just see specific users clinical notes? IE Can we set up a physio to only see their notes and/or the notes of other physios in the clinic, but not those of a psychologist working on the same database? If not - could this feature potentially be implemented please to better protect confidentiality of patients? Thank you.

Hi Mel. There are various levels of security restrictions concerning clinical notes. There are Access settings in System > Security that control what level of access the user has to the clinical notes tab on patient files. For example, this can be used to prevent certain staff from accessing the clinical notes tab entirely.

With specific reference to your question, the Clinical Notes > Security tab on the practitioner file can be used to set who the practitioner’s clinical notes will be available to. In your example, we suggest opening the psychologist’s practitioner file and choosing the appropriate settings. As per per the screenshot below, this can be: All users, no users, specific practitioners, specific practice groups or specific users.

This should cover your requirements well.
