Remove the "Clinical Notes" header when printing off clinical notes.

I hope this makes sense.... I would like the option to be able to remove the header "clinical notes" and "confidential" plus all the other patient/practitioner information that appears before the clinical notes before printing. I could then use a template under clinical notes with drop down boxes to complete a patient assessment (currently I can not use FD word processor to write a report/assessment with drop down boxes under "letter".) I would then be able to print off a separate basic cover "letter" to the patient's GP and attach the assessment alone from clinical notes. I am currently having to use Microsoft word to do this if I need a letter/report with drop down boxes.

Hi Kirsty

I'm not sure if removing the headers on clinical notes and printing them out is the right solution for you.

I would suggested using the FD word processor to refine your standard letter template to include a space for copying your clinical notes into. After your clinical note is complete on the patient file, you can simply copy your assessment into the standard letter, having your drop-down field selections remain in tact. This is certainly possible using the new style clinical note templates.

When copying drop-down fields into the standard letter, you will then be asked how you want to handle the fields as below:

If you are using the old-style clinical note templates, I would suggest re-creating these in the newer style as this is only one of many advantages.
